PSR - The Compact Range
Type PSR is the latest addition to the ABB Softstarter family, and has an attractive, compact design. With this compact design, the PSR Softstarters are ideal for installation in places where space is limited and where there is a demand for easy installation.

Type PSS offers a very flexible solution with easy installation and setup. With the flexible design you can select between installing inside delta or in line with the motor. And if you need the function current limit, you can activate this adding an external current transformer.
• Main voltage range 208 – 690 V AC
• Current ratings 18…300 (In Line) and 30 … 515 A (Inside Delta)
• Supply voltage 110 – 120 V AC and 220 – 240 V AC
• Same unit can be used for both In Line and Inside Delta connection.
• Start ramp, Stop ramp and Initial voltage included

PST (B) - The Advanced Range ABB PST (B) RangeABB PST (B) Range
Type PST(B) range covers almost all your needs for starting, controlling and protecting your motors. The PST(B) softstarters are very easy to set up using the multi language interface. For both starting and stopping the motor we offering two alternative settings, voltage ramp or the new torque control where torque control gives an excellent soft stop for pumps among others. They also include several advanced protections, programmable in and out puts and BUS communication, all as standard. The sizes PSTB370 to 1050 has a by-pass contactor built in.
