We would like to take this opportunity to keep you updated on the measures JJ Loughran are taking to ensure the safety of our staff and customers.

In consideration of the continued issues and concerns associated with Coronavirus (Covid 19) outbreak, we are doing everything we can to both protect our employees and customers and minimize the risk of disruption.

We are taking all necessary precaution to help minimise the spread of Coronavirus. We aim to deliver a high level of services to our customers with as few disruptions as possible and currently have the capabilities to do so. However, as this is an ever-evolving situation, we have implemented necessary arrangements, both in house and on site and will remain flexible to adapt as circumstances change.

We continue to monitor any potential implications the outbreak of Covid-19 may have on our electrical engineering/repair availability and services; and will liaise with all our customers as the situation changes.  Where possible, we will ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to address any impact Covid-19 may have on our relationship.

Practical Steps JJ Loughran our taking

  1. Enforce strict hygiene rules and ensure suitable and plentiful supplies of washing materials, sanitisers, and face coverings for all employees.
  2. Checking of all employees’ temperatures at the start of the working day before they enter our engineering workshop.
  3. Best practice signage for minimising spread of Coronavirus installed in our engineering workshop at numerous locations.
  4. Installation of protective PVC screens at our trade counter to help safely segregate employees from customers and public.
  5. Where possible one person per company vehicle and or dividers for other work vehicle such as crew cab vans to segregate employees.
  6. Introduce frequent and regular cleaning regimes with particular attention on areas colleagues will be touching including shared facilities such as canteens and food.
  7. Those JJ Loughran employees who have roles which do not require presence in our engineering facility to work from home (while ensuring all data protection systems are in place).
  8. There are 2 metre distances between workers.
  9. JJ Loughran has Stopped unnecessary travel and unnecessary visitors from entering our premises.
