We are currently looking for a graduate sales engineer to join our team and help us continue to build a culture of excellence.

Job Description:

Working along side JJ Loughran Sales, Service & Repair teams to deliver industrial electrical sales, servicing and repairs. Assisting customers with the design and specification of Electric Motors, Gearboxes, Variable Speed Drives, Controls, Pumps and Ventilation Equipment and as a result making sales of these items and hitting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Answering customer queries on technical issues.
• Liaising with the customer in selecting the correct item of equipment for their application.
• As a result of agreed specification of products, getting sales for these.
• Develop business opportunities by arranging meetings and making sales pitches.
• Working with potential, new and long-term customers.
• Working as a part of a sales team contributing to the design and makeup of our product stock profile to maximise stock rotation and to minimise customer lead in times.
• To offer our customers an unrivalled sales and repair services.

Essential:

• Successful completion of a MEng/BEng/BSc/HNC/HND postgraduate qualification in either Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Building Services Design, Marketing, Business Studies, Business Development, including pathways combining versions of some of these degrees.
• Candidates should have a driving license and possess a willingness to learn and develop their engineering skills in a fast-paced engineering company at the forefront of our field.

Desirable:

• Experience in a similar role on placement year or through part time employment
• Proficient in the use of CAD

Place of Work:

• Based at JJ Loughran Head Office, Cookstown, Northern Ireland. The role will involve visiting different client locations, on-site.

Working Hours:

• 38 to 42 Hours per week.
• Monday to Friday.

Salary:

• Paid Weekly
• £30,000.00 – £35,000.00 GBP Starting, Negotiable based on experience.

• Weekly
