The housings of the element sizes DW-S 45 and 50 are made from spheroidal cast iron, with inner square sections made from steel tube. The inner square can be used for mounting “plug-in” lever arms on one or both sides.

The element installation has to be affected by bolting the two support angles on customers’ machine parts. These elements have especially been constructed for transmitting alternating motions bypassing the neutral axis in either direction. All metal parts are paint-finished.
