We are currently looking for an LV switchboard copper machinist to join our team and help us continue to build a culture of excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Cutting, bending, drilling, and punching copper bars for use in low voltage switchboards
- Fabrication and assembly of various components for LV switchboards
- Use of CNC copper processing machinery and manual tools to specified engineering drawings
- Work to production schedules and quality standards in a safe and efficient manner
- Assist with copper installation into switchboards when required
- Maintain a clean and organised work area in accordance with health and safety standards
Desired Criteria:
- No experience is required as full training will be provided
- Prior experience in mechanical and electrical assembly, as well as proficiency with hand tools, is beneficial
- Flexible approach to work, willingness to learn and be part of a team
- Proficiency in basic written and spoken English
- A strong work ethic and keen attention to detail are essential
