We are currently looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join our team and help us continue to build a culture of excellence.

Job Description:

In this position, you’ll work both onsite with our clients and in-house at our Cookstown facility. This role is essential in helping us deliver top-quality mechanical maintenance, repairs, and installation services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, repair, and assembly of mechanical equipment onsite and in-house.
• Carry out high-quality welding, ensuring work aligns with JJ Loughran’s safety and quality standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, minimizing downtime for clients and ensuring smooth operations.
• Work with the JJ Loughran team to complete projects and repairs on time and to specification.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, contributing to our workplace culture of safety and responsibility.

Essential:

• Experienced Mechanical Fitter with a strong mechanical skill set.
• Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG, etc.); stainless steel welding experience is an asset but not essential.
• A reliable problem-solver who can work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Flexibility to work both at our Cookstown site and at various client locations

Place of Work:

• Based at JJ Loughran Head Office, Cookstown, Northern Ireland. The role will involve visiting different client locations, on-site.

Working Hours:

• 38 to 42 Hours per week.
• Opportunities for Monday to Friday and Weekend overtime.
