48 Hour 2000kVA Transformer & Switchboard Upgrade

Recent 1250kVA to 2000kVA transformer upgrade and replacement of associated LV Switchboard carried out by JJ Loughran. As part of the works, we also installed a pair of 11kV Schneider Ringmaster CE2 200A extensible circuit breakers to replace two South Wales C4X1 units. All strip out, installation, MV and LV cable jointing works completed within 48 hours. Old switchboard isolated and proved dead at 1:00am Saturday morning, new MV switchgear, transformer, LV switchboard and auto generator changeover, fitted, made live and fully operational by 1:00am Monday morning.

Thanks to #ManorSwitchgear for the design and manufacture of 3200A Form 4 Type 2 Switchboard complete with mains and generator automatic change over set up; IP41 protected using Cubic Modular Steelwork, the switchboard is equipped with ABB ACB’s & MCCB’s. Thanks also to #nienetworks for the HVC safe isolation.
