JJ Loughran recently despatched eighteen ATEX rated ABB electric motors to an original machine manufacturer who required several modifications to each motor. JJ Loughran worked closely with ABB & our customer to optimise the performance of these ATEX Ex db eb IIB T4 Gb motors.

We believe not only in the importance of correctly specifying and supplying new electric motors, drives, and gearboxes, but also in the importance of having the engineers and equipment to maintain, repair, and recondition these products correctly. This ensures JJ Loughran can provide support for this equipment over its lifespan and not just at the point of sale.

At JJ Loughran our repair workshop has engineers certified in the repair, overhaul, and reclamation of equipment used in explosive atmospheres in accordance with BS EN & IEC 60079-19 & IECEx Unit 005 from the AEMT.
